Homemade Granola

Dear Journal...

I really like granola specially with vanilla yogurt and some strawberry jam or preserve. But I'm not a big fan of dry fruits or nuts for that matter so I cheated a bit and instead of using and buying a bunch of different nuts and dried fruits for this I got a cranberry trail mix. It work just as good as buying everything separately just give it a ruff chop before if u don'd like big pieces of nuts like me. In the end it came out really good and this actually last a long time as long as you put it inside a container with a lid you can leave it at room temperature so there is no need to put it in the refrigerator. I actually wanted to add some coconut to this but I gave some to a friend of mine seeing as he don't like coconut I didn't put any in it.

Homemade Granola:

3 cups of Old Fashion Oats
1 bag (approximately 3 cups) of Cranberry Trail Mix
1/4 cup and 2 tbs of Brown Sugar
1/4 cup and 2 tbs of Molasses
1/4 cup of Olive Oil
3/4 tsp of Salt

1. Preheat you'r oven to 250 degrees F

2. Mix Oats, Trail Mix and Sugar in a bowl.

3. In a separate bowl mix Oil, Molasses and Salt together.

4. Combine both mixtures then separate in to 2 baking sheets.

5.  Cook for 1 hour and 15 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.

Then you are done like I said in the beginning just put in a container with a lid and you can keep this at room temperate. The recipe is simple the only thing is that you really do need to stir every 15 minutes because that way everything can get that golden look and it will me a lose granola. If you cook it with out stirring it it will come out in a block and the granola in the bottom will not cook as well. I hope you guys enjoy it.

Free Comicbook Day 2015

Dear Journal...

This is the second year I go to Free Comic Book Day and like last year I had a lot of fun I went to 3 different comic shops this year first I went to DJ's Cards and Comic in North Haven witch is actually my main comic book shop. I will be doing a review on it later on. After that I went to Alternate Universe they actually have 2 locations one in New Haven and one in Milford like last year I went to both of them I wish I had more time to visit other shops but I worked both of my jobs that day and I was a bit short on time.

I actually didn't think I was going to make it on time to my second job lol. All in all I barely got any sleep but I had a lot of fun I took the tiny human and my mom with me as well. All of this places I went to gave a limit of free comics per person so taking someone extra with you means you can get a couple of extra free comics lol.

I went first to DJ's and picked up my regular comics and the free comic books as a regular there the owners gave me a couple of additional free comics. Besides my regular comics and the free comics I also got a couple of other things while I was in the different shops including AME-COMI Heroine-Series Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy (holiday Variant) PVC Figures I been having an eye on for some time. I'm really in love with the figures but I don't think I'll ever take them out of the box.

I also finally got Cards Against Humanity I know I'm a little late at getting this. But I think it was a good idea to wait seeing as now I actually have friends here in the U.S.A. that I can actually play this with lol. I got the 90's Nostalgia Pack for it too cuz lets face it the 90's rock and I'm not just saying this cuz I'm a 90's baby (ok maybe a little lol).

Here are some pictures of the stuff I got:

(Funny thing Alternate Universe was actually giving this little Groot patch with the purches of $15.00 or if you went up to the counter and say "I am Groot" and yes this is an actual novel not a comic.)

(Yes I love my Original Sin Eye Balls I have a bunch of them lol)

I will try to make a review on some of this comics and on the Wolverine novel. I really cant wait to start reading the novel but I have so many book on my to read list and others that I'm reading at the moment I don't know when I'll get to it. Knowing me wanting to read this novel will make put every other book I'm reading on hold just to I can read this one lol.

Sincerely your's K.M.S.
